Photo: Tom Bol Nestled just thirty miles off the Caribbean Coast of Honduras, the Bay Islands offer beautiful paddling, camping under coco palms and world class snorkeling and fishing. This is a huge experience, combining kayaking, snorkeling, fishing, tropical biology all with a twist of the rich cultural soup of this island group. You have to live it to believe it. Each day we'll stay flexible to do something new with whatever the weather brings us.

You'll fly into the island of Roatan, which has an international airport receiving direct flights from Houston, Miami and Atlanta. We'll venture daily from our comfortable private home retreat from Oak Ridge, a village on the East end of Roatan. We have all the comforts of home without ringing telephones, roads or to-do lists. Our front yard is a coral reef!

This trip is a real adventure that operates on island time and works in harmony with the local economy and culture.. We don't insulate you from the local people, but instead work with them for a lot of our daily needs, like seafood, bread, local transport and just general sharing because they are as interested in you as you are them.
